Chuck Beckman was born in Del Rio, Texas and currently lives in central Connecticut. He started playing guitar and ukulele with his father at age 3, which inspired him to create his own music. He studied classical guitar with various teachers, and played blues and rock on his own, taking inspiration from Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Jeff Beck. He later attended Berklee College of Music and Quinnipiac University, where he studied jazz improvisation and performance.

Chuck recently formed the band ‘Beckman’, which has just released their debut album, ‘Lonesome Road’. This dynamic rock album draws from many styles of music, to create a huge signature sound with maximum impact. Beckman displays its power with heavy blues riffs and guitar-driven rock ‘n’ roll. This band digs deep into the history of classic hard rock, and gives the style new life.

Beckman’s album ‘Lonesome’ features vocalist Mike Vescera (Yngwie Malmsteen, Loudness, Obsession) and the propulsive, unique drumming of Greg Trabandt. Chuck Beckman’s guitar style ranges from vintage-toned slide guitar to scorching solos with singing vibrato. Check out the samples from ‘Lonesome Road’ on the ‘Music’ page!
